The participants of the conference have discussed the current situation concerning the logistics transportation and touched the essential problems in this sphere. One of the main topics was the empty container staging to the owners terminals. The decision of obligatory stabilizing the situation and optimizing the time frames of ferrying of empty containers under the owner’s codes was announced.
Special attention was paid to the problem of increasing railway traffic rates. Increasing cargo turnover is impossible in this situation since a lot of expeditors have to refuse from railway transportation and have to find other ways of shipment.
Following up the results of the conference all the participants came to common conclusion about the essentiality of regulating the railway rates and upgrading the system of dispatching cargo by railway.
