On the 26th  of October the  International conference “RZD cooperation with sea ports and non-public rail way tracks owners” took place in Moscow. The conference was attended by more than 200 representatives from ports administration, stevedoring and transport companies. The representative of “Contrans” was the Deputy Chief of a warehouse complex on manufacture of ”Contrans” container terminal Sergey Chukhlomin. During the conference speakers have analyzed the currant situation in transport sphere and discussed essential problems of collaboration among traffic process participants.

Main topics of discussion were: discordance of ports technical capacities, lack of agreement in ports and railway schedules, insufficient implementation of new technologies in transport service, and as a result – high percent of damaged wagons.

Following up the results of the conference to be able to provide the effective collaboration among all members of transport market were offered several decisions: to regulate the cooperation with ports and to improve the organizing traffics procedure – related to regulation guidelines of car supply/picking, to define responsibilities of RZD,   stevedoring and transport companies, to implement the traffic schedule. Also it is necessary to implement updated technological innovations using the electronic data interchange within the united logistic centre and to improve services which exercise control over cargo transportation as well.
All the participants came to common conclusion that the realization of goals which were mentioned above will be possible only in case of concerted actions of all members of transport sphere. It will give a lift to further improvement and high effective work of transport system in the whole.
